Students encounters freedom in Christ
I always look forward for Friday’s evening. After the youth gathering I meet this students and just talk about our lives and Jesus in it.
Each time we meet we get know more each other, How Jesus is moving in our lives. Above all else we get to have a deeper relationship with Jesus
They are our next generations leaders. As young as they are they can make an impact and difference in the society through their relationship with Jesus.
As they believe in Jesus. A river of life with overflow in them. Enabling them to speak life, encourage and power. Live a life with leadership ,integrity, Faith and excellence. Having a heart of compassion, kindness and humility.
FRUITS of genuine relationship with Jesus.
We are raising the next generation for Jesus and We are fighting for them. Transforming lives, shaping the future.
I was conversing with one of our youth leaders about our upcoming youth leaders camp and was asking him if he had already talked to his Mother about it.
” I didn’t mention this to my mom yet, because I know she will be sad,” he said.
I asked, “Will she be sad because of the expense?” And he responded, “She may not know where to get the money.”
This is what I shared to him:
1. Involve your parents
This kid knows that the cost for the youth camp will be challenging for his mom, being a single parent and having to raise two more children in the family. Nevertheless, he can take this as an opportunity to boost her faith as well. I told him, “Maybe you can talk to your mom about the youth camp and the cost for it. You may not have the amount at this point, but you can ask your mom to be in faith for provision. Ask her to pray and believe with you that God can provide. As you step out in faith, your mom is stepping out in faith too.”
2. Go back to your provider
Times like this, we need to point people back to our Provider, our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. We have to remind them of their identity. This kid’s dad may have left him, but he has a heavenly Father who is more than able to provide for his every need.
I shared to him Ephesians 3:20: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
The amount for this camp is nothing compared to what God is able to provide . Our heavenly Father is able to do immeasurably and abundantly more than what we ask or imagine.
I’m excited for this young leader as he and his mother believe for provision and wait expectantly for God’s surprises.

On my way home, a student shared to me that wrong mindsets about relationship was broken during the youth service.He opened up about his past mistakes and grateful of what he learned.
Our generation is challenged by different influences about relationship. Media and peers plays a key role.But. the only thing they need to hear is the word of God. We all have a role to play in fighting for the next generation.
Oh yes, you read it correctly. I’ve joined the force and entered the program. I left my job and I don’t see my self anywhere else but served the campus in the next several years. Its been years of patiently waiting and praying. My heart beats for the next generation and I can’t escape from this calling any longer. Fulfilling this calling of seeing a new generation of changed lives that has a strong relationship with Jesus, Young people making an impact wherever they go, influencing for Jesus.
As I entered this faith building season, I’m very grateful for the people who believed, mentored and prayed for me. Filled with excitement but can’t deny that though this season brings uncertainly, I am certain of God’s faithfulness and that He will bring me through it.
Some of the godly men I look up into the ministry sharing principles, breaking the wrong mindsets and encouraging testimonies their success on the program. Their passion for Jesus and to served the next generation is an inspiration. How they live their lives speaks louder than their preaching.
During the training I’m privileged to meet the future Campus ministers, Church planters and World missionaries. Each has a powerful testimony of how Jesus changed our lives and How they responded to the call of serving full time. On this batch are world missionaries that will be sent out to the most restricted nations.
I’m excited on this new journey with my relationship with Jesus and a new chapter of story of His great faithfulness.
I’m encouraged by the testimonies of our youth leaders, all on fire for Jesus, all set to make a difference in their campuses, excel in their studies, influence-rs among their peers and passion to reached the lost. Most of this are students representing different campuses. Here are some photos taken during the recent Youth leader’s huddle.

I desire you more than an Ipad, a samsung note 2 or S4, more than a brand new laptop,more than the games in my android phone, more than the healing , more than the breakthroughs, more than the desires of my heart, more than anything else that this world can offer.
I desire nothing else but you, to do your will, to be in your presence always and your purpose alone in my life.




HUDDLE is a quarterly youth leaders equipping, Pastor Ryan Tan shared a powerful message on how familiarity kills our faith and creativity. Thank you to our Ortigas Youth Team for having this kind of equipping that we will always look forward.
